It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Stroud, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital on August 13th, 2026.
Late of 9A The Crescent, Shantallow, Derry. May he rest in peace.
Beloved partner of Nina. Cherished brother of the late Bridgeen Crockett. Dearest son of the late Tony and Myra Stroud. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his partner and their loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Liam and all his cousins, his extended family circle, friends and neighbours.
Bill’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 9A The Crescent, Shantallow, tomorrow, Friday (August 14th) from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday (August 15th) at 11:20 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower at 12 o’clock. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
