The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday 18th August 2026 of Veronica (Vonnie) Gallagher (née O’Keeffe), Drumany, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal F92 A0Y8.
Deeply missed by her loving sons and daughters James (Karen), Mary (Denis), William (Grace), Margaret (Gerard), Geraldine, Caroline (Drew) and Shaun (Edel), her 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, sister Kathleen Ward, brother Liam O’Keeffe, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Vonnie is predeceased by her husband Jim (1999), brothers Hugh, Pat and Sean and sisters Pearl and Bridget.

Vonnie’s remains are reposing at her late residence on Wednesday 19th August from 5pm and on Thursday 20th August from 12 noon. Rosary both nights at 9pm with family time after the Rosary please.
Funeral from there on Friday 21st August at 10.30am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on the parish YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657. Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny.
