It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Vaughan Williams, peacefully at home after a short illness on 8th April 2026.

Late of 16 Beechwood Crescent, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Dearest husband of the late Paula. Beloved son of the late Catherine and Don. Loving brother of Paul, Donna, Peter, Stephen and the late Leo. A much loved uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

Vaughan’s remains will be reposing at his brother Peter’s home, 36 Oakfield Road, Derry on Thursday (April 9th) from 5 p.m.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday (April 11th) at 9:20 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The wake house will be private from 10 p.m. until 11 a.m.
