It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas (Tommy) Morrison, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 6th September 2026.

Late of 45 Aberfoyle Crescent, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Ethna. Devoted father of Tony, Brendan, Rory and Gavin. Dearest father-in-law of Mary, Breidge, Orla and Helena. Loving Granda of Ross, Lauren, Tom, Eibhlín, Kian, Maíre, Ava and Katie. A much loved Great-Granda of Finn and Fia. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Tommy will be reposing at his late home, 45 Aberfoyle Crescent on Monday (September 7th) from 12 noon. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday (September 9th) at 9:15 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn at 10 a.m. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The wake house will be private from 9 p.m. in the evening until 12 noon.
