It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Terence (Don) O’Donnell, peacefully at Brookland’s Edenballymore Lodge Care Home on 6th May 2026.

Beloved husband of Isabel (Isa). A much-loved father of Don, Ann, Marian (Gerry), Gerald (Eileen), Mark (Orlaigh), Michelle and the late Martin. Dearly loved grandfather to his 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A devoted brother to all of his brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, neighbours and friends.

Don’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 120 Circular Road on Wednesday (May 6th) from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Thursday (May 7th) from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday (May 8th) at 9.25 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
