The death has occurred of

Robert Carey

Carrowbeg, Lecamey, Carndonagh PO (F93 FY79)

peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Sunday, 18 October 2026.

He will be deeply missed by his daughter Sheila (Kenny), sons Michael (Anne) and Martin (Nicola), daughter Liz, his grandchildren Emma, David and David, his great grandchildren, his sister Celia, and his wider family circle and friends.

Robert is predeceased by his wife, Mary.

His remains will repose at his home today (Monday) from 1 – 9 pm and on Tuesday from 11 am – 9 pm where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Robert’s Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 21 October at 11 am in St Columba’s Church, Ballinacrae, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
