Philomena passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on the 29th of January 2025.Beloved wife of Jim, cherished mother of Ciara, Brendan, Elaine, and John, and adored grandmother to Aimee, Sarah, Ollie, Lucie, Elana, Ethan, and Ferdia. Philomena will be deeply missed by her children’s partners Colm, Anna, Patrick and Caoimhe, as well as by her sister, brothers, extended family, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, along with all the dedicated medical professionals who provided Philomena with such compassionate care and support.

Philomena will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Sunday evening 2nd February from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.

Removal Monday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town arriving for 10.00am Funeral Mass, which can also be viewed by clicking on Philomena’s Funeral Mass

Followed by private Cremation Service.
