It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Paula McCourt (née O’Leary), peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 22nd September 2026.

Late of 37 Templegrove, Derry. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Colin. Devoted mother of Eamon, Seána and Caitlín. Dearest mother-in-law of Marty. Loving Granny of Ailish, Orla and Fianna. A much loved sister of Kevin, Maura, Karen and the late Sean. Dearest sister-in-law of Ann, Declan and the late Norman. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Paula’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 37 Templegrove on Thursday (September 24th) from 11 a.m. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday (September 26th) at 9.20 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral at 10 a.m. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The Wake House will be Private please from 10 p.m. until 11 a.m.
