Died 5th February 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Nora McCarthy (née Motherway) who left us peacefully on the February 5th, 2025, at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family in Cork University Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald, her sister Eileen and her brothers Stevie, Liam and Edmond.

Sadly, missed by her daughters Marie and Veronica, her son Brendan, her sons-in-law Dan and Gerard, her daughter-in-law Pauline, her granddaughters Laura, Orla and Avril and her great granddaughters Sadie and Elodie, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Nora Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her home, Cloyne House, on Friday (7th February) from 4pm until 7pm.

Reception into St Colman’s Church, Cloyne on Saturday (8th February) at 12 pm for Requiem Mass on arrival, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
