The peaceful death has taken place on Wednesday 29th October 2025 at Letterkenny University Hospital of Noel McGuigan, 12 Beechwood Road, Letterkenny and formerly from Pluck. Deeply missed by his sister Bernadette Sweeney (Creeslough), nieces and nephews and the Doherty family 15 Derryveagh Avenue, and a wide circle of family, friend’s and neighbours.
Noel is predeceased by his partner Kathleen, brothers Hughie, Tommy and Ken and sisters Frances Duffy and Kathleen Arthur.

Noel’s remains will be reposing at 15 Derryveagh Avenue, Letterkenny F92 R9WH on Friday 31st October from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Saturday 1st November at 9.30am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 10am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill.
