The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital on Thursday 27th August 2026 of Michael Keane retired Garda Sergeant, 1 Meadowbank Park, Letterkenny F92 T9RV and formerly from Mulranny, Co. Mayo.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Helen, daughter Teresa and son-in-law Martin Lynch (Galdonagh Upper, Manorcunningham), grandchildren Amy, Eoghan and Kayla, brother Tommy (Cork), sisters Kathleen Madden (Currane, Co. Mayo) and Elizabeth Keane (Mulranny, Co. Mayo), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Michael is predeceased by his parents Lizzie and Josie.

Michael’s remains will be reposing at his late residence on Friday 28th August from 1pm until after the Rosary at 9pm. Family time after the Rosary please.
Funeral from there on Saturday 29th August at 10.30am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny. Family flowers only please.
