It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Havord, peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home on 12th March 2026.

Late of 10 Brickfield Court, Derry.  May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Alice. Devoted father of Marie, Karen, Michaela, John and Alice. Dearest father-in-law of Sean, Marty, Fiona and the late Roy. Loving Bampy to all of his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Michael’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 10 Brickfield Court on Friday (March 13th) from 3 p.m.

Funeral leaving from there on Monday (March 16th) at 9:30 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan at 10 a.m.

Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be private from 10 p.m. until 11 a.m.
