It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of May Doherty (née McBrearty), aged 83, who died peacefully at home on 13th April 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
May was a devoted and much-loved mother, sister, auntie, granny, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Michael (Eleanor), Paul, Diane (Bob), Maria, David (Lorraine), Julie (Thomas), Linda (Mark), and the late Donna. And her brothers Joe, the late Paddy and Jim and sisters Isobel, Bernadette and the late Rosaleen. And all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Remembering too, the late baby Ella.
Reposing at the family home, (2, Iona Villas, Strabane), today, Tuesday 14th April from 4.30 p.m.
Funeral from the family home on Thursday 16th April at 9.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Melmount. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
