It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Kelly, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 21st September 2026.

Late of 17 Fortwilliam Terrace, Derry. May she rest in peace. (Former Art Teacher of Thornhill College).

Beloved daughter of the late Josephine and Jack Kelly. Loving sister of the late Bernard Kelly. Sadly missed by all of her cousins in Derry, Belfast and England. Deeply regretted by all of her dear friends, neighbours and carers.

Mary’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty Funeral Home, Derry on Monday (September 21st) from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Mary’s remains will then leave from there on Tuesday (September 22nd) at 5:50 p.m. to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for 6:15 p.m. arrival to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass will then take place on Wednesday (September 23rd) at 10 a.m. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
