It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Roddy, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 17th July 2026.

Late of 141 Kylemore Park, Derry. Former Firefighter. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Ursula. Devoted father of Daniel, Darren and Jason. Dearest father-in-law of James, Parnisha and Carleena. Loving Granda of Eli, Cadáin, Dárách and Amelia. A much loved brother to all of his brothers and sister. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. A dear companion of Maisie.

Martin will be reposing at his late family home, 141 Kylemore Park on Friday (July 17th) from 8 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday (July 19th) at 2:15 p.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ardmore, Derry at 3 p.m.

Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Wake house will be private from 9 p.m. until 11 a.m.
