It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Doherty, (aged 44 Years), suddenly on 3rd October 2026.

Late of 77 Drumleck Drive, Shantallow, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Loving partner of Rachel. Devoted father of Eimhéar. A much loved step-father of Teri, Audrina and Sofia. Beloved son of Geraldine and the late Bobby. Dearest brother of Stephanie, Nicola and Máelán. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends.

Mark will be reposing at his late family home, 77 Drumleck Drive, Shantallow, on Tuesday (October 6th) from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday (October 7th) at 9.20 a.m. for Requiem Mass in Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown at 10 a.m. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
