The death has occurred of Margaret Golden (née Gavin), Carrowholly, Westport & formerly of Clynish Island, Kilmeena, Westport, peacefully at the Carra Suite, Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her loving family on 11th July 2025.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, parents Hubert & Bridget, her siblings Teresa Moran, Agnes Nolan, Paddy Gavin, Ellie McGill & Nancy McGuire.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons Padraig, George, Hugh & Charles, her daughters Pauline & Julie, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & friends.

Margaret will repose at The Kilmeena Community Centre, Myna (F28 WT73) on Sunday (July 13th) from 5:30pm with removal at 7:30pm to St. Brendan’s Church, Kilmeena.

One way System will be in place entering via Clooneen/Carrowbeg crossroads L5431 and exiting via Buckfield Road L1802.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday (July 14th) with funeral proceeding to Myna Cemetery.
