It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurence Lynch, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on 10th May 2026.

Late of 47 Dunmore Gardens, Creggan, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Eileen. Devoted father of Liam. Dearest father-in-law of Louise. Loving granda of Nicole, Adam, Ben, Ryan and Jake. A much loved great-Granda of Theo (Teddy). Precious son of the late John and Sarah Lynch. A dear brother of John, Frank, Aidan and the late Bernard. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Laurence’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 47 Dunmore Gardens, Creggan on Sunday (May 10th) from 5 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday (May 12th) at 9:20 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan at 10 a.m.

Cemation service will take place afterwards in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co. Cavan at 2 p.m. Everyone welcome.

The wake house will be private from 10 p.m. until 11 a.m.
