The peaceful death has occurred on the 16th August 2025 in Croydon, London in her 88th year of Kathleen Mc Hugh nee Matthewson, formerly Coolaghey, Raphoe. Beloved wife of Denis, much loved mother to her daughter Catherine (Mc Gowan), son Nigel, daughter in law Debbie, and late son in law Kevin, devoted grandmother to Kerry, Sinead, Daniel, Ryan, Ciaran, Ellie, and great grand mother to Cáitlin, Finlay, Aoife and Tommy, cherished sister of Herbie, Maureen, Danny, Nancy. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her husband,  son, daughter, daughter in law, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces extended family neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at her residence in Kiltown, Killygordon F93 FPK5  on Wednesday Aug 27th  from 6pm  to 9pm and on Thursday Aug 28th from 1pm to 9pm. Funeral leaving from her residence on Friday Aug 29th  at 10.30pm for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon at 11am. Interment in the adjoining churchyard.
