Peacefully on the 12th December 2025  at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son Jimmy, daughter Paula (in infancy) parents Jimmy and Cecilia, brother Jimmy, sister Doris, sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Tommy and nephew Conor .

Johnny will be sadly and forever missed  by his loving wife Mona, daughter Fiona (Michael), son John (Ciara). His adoring  grandchildren Aoibhínn, James, Saoirse and Rhia. His brothers Benny and Eddie, sisters-in-law Sheila, Kathi and Susanne, brother-in-law Ken, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Smith’s Funeral home Barrack Street, Granard, Co. Longford (Eircode N39AX97)                        on Sunday 14^th from 3pm to 6pm.

Removal on Monday  15^th to St. Mary’s Church Granard for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in the Granardkill Cemetery.
