John Tunney (Levenshulme, Manchester, U.K. formerly Shore Rd., Belmullet, Co. Mayo & Cross, Killadoon, Louisburgh.) May 16th 2025:- Peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Kathleen (née Coyne, Cross, Louisburgh.) nephews Michael & Mark, niece Karen, brothers-in-law Michael & Nathan, sister-in-law Mary, cousins, extended Tunney & Coyne families, and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Roseanne, sisters Bridget-Mary, Josephine, & Kathleen.

John will be received into the Church of St. Mary of the Angels and St. Clare, Elbow St., Levenshulme, M19 3PY on Thursday (May 29th) for 7:00pm Mass of the Resurrection.

John will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Friday (May 30th) from 6:00pm, concluding at 7:30pm with Vigil Prayers, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:30am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
