Sunday February 16th peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Beloved husband of Maureen and dear father of Adrian, Amanda, Liam and Shane.

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget Tierney, brother Vinny and sister Patricia.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, son in law Eamonn, daughters in law, Carmel and Louise, his adored grandchildren Ciarán, Darragh, Sadhbh and Seán, brother Tom, sisters Mary, Margaret, Pauline, Kitty and Betty.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin road, Cavan, Monday Feb. 17th from 5.30 until 7.30, removal afterwards to St Michaels Church, Potahee, to arrive at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11.00am, interment afterwards in adjoining new Cemetery.
