Aged 83 Years

peacefully in the tender care of his loving family, predeceased by his wife Esther (née Bergin), parents Tom and Alice, brothers Tommy and Richard.

John will be sadly missed by his daughter Elizabeth, son Noel, son-in-law Osama, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Rachel and Cian, sister Mary (Donnelly), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

John will be reposing in Powers Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Sunday, 9th February, from 2pm until 3.30pm, John’s removal will take place on Tuesday 11th February via his home to St. Kevin’s Church, Carrigeen, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am, after which John will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
