It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of John Corcoran, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 2nd November 2026.

Late of 15 Mount Street, Rosemont, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Donna. Devoted father of Kiera, Daniel, Seán and Shannon. Dearest father-in-law of Anthony and Staci. Loving Granda of Caitlin, Noah and Cillian. A much loved son of the late Timothy and Annie. Dearest brother of Nelius, Annette, Margaret, Tina, Tim, Paddy and Carol. A much loved brother-in-law and uncle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

John’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 15 Mount Street on Tuesday (November 3rd)  from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday (November 4th) from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday (November 5th) at 9.25 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry at 10 a.m. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
