It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of James Kelly, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 5th October 2026.

Late of 24 Tullyally Road, Drumahoe, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Leonie. Devoted son of the late P.J and Collette. Cherished son-in-law of John and Maeve McDaid. A much-loved brother to all of his brothers and sisters. A dear uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends

Jame’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 24 Tullyally Road on Tuesday (October 6th) from 5 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday (October 8th) at 9:15 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry at 10 a.m. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The Wake house will be private please from 10 p.m. until 11 a.m.
