Devoted husband of Bernie, Cherished father of Damian (Kerry-Jo), Regina (Aidan), Gary (Barbara) and Clare (Shane). Loving grandfather of Jason, Kiera, Aimee, Ryan, Caolan, Jayden and Sean.
Son of the Late Frank and Lena R.I.P. Beloved brother of St Maureen (England), Ignatius, Joan and the late Patrick, Hugh, John, Phelim, Philomena, Ellen, Anne and Dympna R.I.P.
Gregory will be reposing at his family home 73 Deverney Road Omagh BT79 0NA today Thursday 4th June 2026 from 8pm until 10pm and Friday 5th June 2026 from 12 noon until 10pm.
Funeral leaving Saturday 6th June 2026 at 1.20pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church Killyclogher followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Gregory will be sadly missed by his dearest wife, Loving sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, neighbours, many friends and entire family circle.
On his Soul Sweet Jesus have Mercy.

My condolences to Bernie and the McAleer family. Spent many years with Gregory around the farms in the greater Omagh area. An odd wee burst of “Heartaches by the number” was a regular occurrence. RiP Gregory- A hard working, decent man 🙏

Nothing but fond Memories of “big Gregory” mainly from his time in the old village inn. I’ll not chance a cigar but the next powers will be raised in your memory. Glad I stopped to chat him a few years ago on the road. Modest, sincere yet light hearted, and a gentleman.He will no doubt be sorely missed by his close family and friends , I’m sorry for your loss.
