The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Gracie McCafferty, Moneybeg, Dunlewey, originally from Meenacreeva, Annagry.

Predeceased by her husband Joe Shiomáin, her parents Mickey and Mary, sisters; Ann and Mary, Brothers; Paddy, Phil and Baby Anthony.

Sadly missed by her daughters; Noreen (Shaun), Marie (Pat), Michelle (Joseph), Josephine (Gavin), sons; Martin (Nicola) and Johnny (Rosa), sister Susie (Seamus) brother Jack, sister in-law Bríd, grandchildren Laura, Megan, Katie and Cassie, great grandson Darragh and extended family and friends.

Her remains will repose at her late residence (F92 VK82), tomorrow (Friday 15th) from 3pm-9pm and Saturday from 12pm-9pm. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

House is private from 9pm and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday at 1pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey (F92 N668), burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

A shuttle bus will operate from McGeady’s Bar, Dunlewey Car Park. A one-way traffic system will also be in place, with entry via McGeady’s Bar.
