The peaceful death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Eddie Shiels, Ballylennon, St Johnston, Co Donegal.

He will be missed dearly by his nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Eddie will be reposing at his nephew’s Shaun Shiels, residence, Conneyburrow Road, Lifford F93 V67E from 8pm this evening Friday 4^th April and all day Saturday for wake.

Funeral Cortege will be leaving Conneyburrow Road, Lifford on Sunday morning at 11.15 am travelling via White Cross, Ballylennon and onto St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for 12 o’clock Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deep are the memories, Precious they stay; No passing of time, Will take them away.
