I am truly lost for words trying to say goodbye to my aunt Donna who was so much more than that to me Donna was like a mother to me
Donna never once complained no matter what she was going through No matter how she felt her answer was always the same Iβm good How are you I will never forget the night she sat us down and gave us the bad news From that day on she carried everything with such strength and never complained
Donna was truly one of a kind She had her own style and loved looking well always getting her nails done and never letting anything stop her She loved her little trips to Dunnes loved a bit of shopping and most of all she loved to laugh She was full of jokes and you definitely needed thick skin to be around her but that was her and thatβs what made Donna so special
Right up until your very last breath you never lost that spark
I could write forever about you and it still wouldnβt be enough Donna there will never be another like you I will carry you with me always

From the two years I knew Donna she showed me that you can still have the purest heart even when life puts you through the hardest times she was such an amazing woman a loving mammy a devoted auntie a caring sister and a true friend to so many she had a strength about her that never faded no matter what she was facing and she carried herself with so much love and grace through it all Donna was a real fighter but more than that she was kind selfless and full of love she always put others before herself and had a way of making people feel safe and cared for just by being around her she touched so many lives and that love she gave will never be forgotten I feel so lucky to have known her even for a short time and I will always remember her warmth her strength and the way she made people feel sending so much love to you all she will always be with you and her strength will live on through every one of you π€
