The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 of Dolie Higgins, 21 Slieve Sneacht Close, Letterkenny F92 VHF9. Deeply missed by his loving wife Nuala, sons John (Sandra), Danny (Elaine) and Marty (Stephanie), daughter Cathy (Dean), grandchildren, sisters Kay McCafferty, Annie Shaw and Bridie Whoriskey, brother Francis Higgins, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Dolie is predeceased by his parents Joe and Maggie, brothers John, Peadar and sister Margaret Harkin.
May Dolie Rest in Peace
Dolie’s remains will be reposing at his home at 21 Slieve Sneacht Close on Thursday 4th September from 5pm until 10pm and on Friday 5th September from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Saturday 6th September at 10.30am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Intensive Care Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.
