It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of David Coups, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 10th June 2026.

Late of 259 Gortin Meadows, Newbuildings, Derry and formerly of 16 Baldrick Crescent. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Tony. Devoted son of Ruby. Loving brother of Tommy, Margaret and Joanne. Dearest brother-in-law of Geraldine, Andy and Billy. A much loved friend of John and Traci. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

David’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 259 Gortin Meadows, Newbuildings on Friday (June 12th) 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

A funeral service will take place at his late home on Saturday (June 13th) at 11 a.m. for immediate family and close friends. David’s burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
