Peacefully at home (Ballymongan, Aghyaran), 11th July 2026 R.I.P.
Beloved husband of the late Susan, much loved father of Paul, Fiona, Louise and Donal and father in law of Michelle, Michael and Sinéad, loving granda of Matthew, Oscar, Áoibhe, Enya, Fionn, Daré, Senán and Cúan, dearest brother of Mary, Sara, Anna and the late Bridie and John, cherished son of the late Matthew and Bella.
Reposing at the family home on Sunday 12th July at 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. and on Monday 13th July from 11 a.m until 11 p.m.
Funeral from the family home on Tuesday 14th July at 10.20 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Aghyaran. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by his entire family circle.

I sat next to Danny on the same desk at the back of the ciassroom for our last 3 years at Ballymongan school. I will always remember Danny for his quick wit and sense of humour. I watched his funeral on line, what a turnout no more than he deserved.He is now reunited with Susan. May they both rest in peace.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this sad time.

Dear Paul, Fiona, Louise and Donal and all the extended family sending our deepest condolences. Lovely Uncle Danny always had a twinkle in his eye and a light heart. Thank you for many a happy summer spent with Danny and Susan and the craic we had. Uncle Danny was both farmer and scholar whose love of history was inspirational. He will be sorely missed. From his beautiful wedding and many happy years, he is together again with Auntie Susan in heaven. RIP dear soul. ❤️❤️❤️
