Duncan (Portglenone, formerly Glenarm) Charlie, 12th May 2026. 20 West Road, Portglenone. Peacefully at Mac Millan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of the late Imelda (Née Diamond), devoted father of Sheila and Grainne (Gordon), cherished grandad of Charlie and father-in-law of Brian. Son of the late Mairead and Charlie Duncan (Glenarm) and loving brother of Marie (Mc Gaughey), Geraldine (Greer) Fergus, Imelda (O’Neill) and Lorna (Cunning). Charlie’s wake will commence on Thursday from 11.00am. Family time between 9.00pm and 11.00 am. Charlie’s funeral will leave his late residence, on Saturday at 12.30pm to St. Mary’s Church for 1.00pm Requiem Mass. Committal afterwards in Aughnahoy Cemetery, Portglenone. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing daughters, son-in-law, grandson, and the Duncan and Diamond family circle. St. Christopher pray for him. Charlie was something else let me tell ye.from yapping at me wen I was a bad we party animal back in the day 😂,till praising me as a great grown up woman an how I’ve done so well for myself.He was the best neighbour an a best friend an a great drinking buddy.Then he got me drunk on sat nyt there 😂u will b missed so much Charlie.Hope emelda is up there spoiling u rotten cos u deserve it.Rest in peace my friend,till we meet again ❤️
