The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice on Tuesday 27th October 2026 of Charlie Meehan, Carrickballydooey, Manorcunningham.
Deeply missed by his loving wife Ruby, son Niall (Brenda) and daughters Bridget (Pat) and Ann, grandchildren Chuck, Eva, Ethan and Emily, sisters Bridget and Sarah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents Neil and Annie, brothers Willie, Pat, John, infant brother Michael and sister Suzanne Neely.

Charlie’s remains will be reposing at his son Niall and daughter-in-law Brendas’ residence at Carrickballydooey F92 FY0T on Wednesday 28th October from 2pm until 10pm and on Thursday 29th October from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.
There will be a shuttle bus in operation from Drumoghill Football Club F92 X772 from 2pm today Wednesday and from 12 noon on Thursday.
Funeral from there on Friday 30th October at 10.30am going to St. Columba’s Church, Drumoghill for 11am Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
