The death has occurred of William (Billy) Nelis, Oaklawn, Chicago, and formerly of Convent Road, Letterkenny, and Meeting House Street, Raphoe.
Billy will be lovingly missed by his wife Ann, his daughters Breda and Lenora, his son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Brendan and Martin, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all his extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Lizzie and father Willie, as well as his brothers Benny and John. May they all rest in peace.
A silent thought, a quiet prayer, For a special person in God’s care.
Funeral arrangements are private, in accordance with Billy’s wishes. A remembrance Mass will be held in Raphoe at a later date.

We are so sorry to hear of Billy’s passing. Although it’s been a long time since we crossed paths we have fond memories of Billy. A very warm and lovely person, and good for a laugh as the saying goes. May Billy rest in peace.
