It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Barney Mullan, peacefully at home on 30th June 2026.

Late of 63 Gleneagles, Derry. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Gemma. Devoted father of Martin, Moya and the late Michelle. Dearest father-in-law of Pamela, Paul and Jonathan. Loving granda of Barry, Kellie, Adele, Blake and Troy. A much loved great-granda to all of his loving great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Barney’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 63 Gleneagles on Wednesday (July 1st) from 2 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Friday (July 3rd) at 9:20 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn at 10 a.m. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery.
