It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Simpson, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a short illness bravely borne, on June 22nd, 2026.
Late of 142 Canterbury Park, Derry. May he rest in peace.
Much-loved daddy of Alex. Devoted brother of Danny, John, Daryl and the late Lisa and Julie. A cherished son of the late Dolores and Danny Simpson. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by Aisling and her mother Rosaleen, his extended family circle, friends and neighbours.
Anthony’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty Funeral Home and Chapel of Rest on Tuesday (June 23rd) from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday (June 24th) at 9:30 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower at 10 a.m. Private Cremation afterwards at Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co. Cavan.
