The peaceful death has taken place on Wednesday 16th July 2025 at Letterkenny University Hospital of Willy Hegarty, 6 Ardlonan, Long Lane, Letterkenny F92 T9TT and formerly from Rossuilighe, Oldtown, Letterkenny. Deeply missed by his loving partner Rose-Marie, son’s Simon (Kristine) and Aaron (Fiona), daughter Simone (Justin), grandchildren Adam, Lochlann, Sarah, Jake and Amy, sisters Margaret, Bernadette, Mary, Jacqueline, Teresa, Connie, Rose, Angela and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Willy is predeceased by his parents Matthew and Theresa and his brother Patrick.
Rest in Peace
Willy’s remains will be reposing at his late residence on Thursday 17th July from 6pm until 10pm and on Friday 18th July from 1pm until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday 19th July at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church Convoy with interment afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Convoy. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.
