The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday 30th September 2025 of Kathleen Doherty née Byrne, 15 Derryveagh Avenue, Letterkenny F92 R9WH.
Deeply missed by her loving sons Brian and Vincent, daughters Helena (Christian) and Marie (Martin), Kathleen’s partner Noel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Mary McHugh (Strabane) and Geraldine Coyle (Letterkenny), brother Seán (Carn, Ballybofey), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Packie (1993), daughter Charlene (2004) and grandson Patrick (2015),
brothers Vincent, Larry, Josie and Pat, and sisters Eileen, Bridget and Anne.

Kathleen’s remains will be reposing at her late residence on Thursday 2nd October from 12 noon until after the Rosary at 9pm.
Funeral from there on Friday 3rd October at 10.30am going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny.
